As part of Ashghal’s ongoing works to enhance traffic signals at main intersections, the signals at the intersection of the Wholesale Market Street with E-Ring Road will be replaced.
The intersection will be closed for traffic for seven hours starting from 3am tomorrow.
The part of the E-Ring Road stretching from Mesaimeer interchange, known as Al Obaidly roundabout, running up to the intersection of Wholesale Market with E-Ring Road will be closed for the period in one direction.
Those coming from Mesaimeer interchange and heading onwards to the E-Ring Road could use Rawdat Al Khail Street and then turn left onto D-Ring Road.
Those who want to travel from Mesaimeer interchange to Fareej Al Ali area could take Rawdat Al Khail Street then turn left onto Ahmed Bin Zaidoun Street and navigate the area using the inner roads.
Commuters from the E-Ring road side who want to continue their journey towards Mesaimeer interchange could take a right at the intersection towards Woqod petrol station roundabout. Then they need to take a U-turn and continue on E-Ring road towards Mesaimeer interchange.
