ACHIEVEMENT: Dr Hari Ravindran

Hari Alangat Ravindran, a former student of MES Indian School, was awarded a PhD in Analytic Number Theory, Mathematics, from the Ohio State University in Columbus, the United States of America (USA), recently.

Dr Hari hails from Kerala and had his school education at MES Indian School in Doha. He was the topper in Qatar in Physics and Mathematics scoring 99% in the All India Senior School Certificate Examination (Grade XII), CBSE held in the year 2003. He is at present a member of the faculty at the Ohio State University.

The Ohio State University, commonly referred to as OSU, is a public research university in Columbus, Ohio. It is the third largest university campus in the United States.

The university is also home to an extensive student life programme, with over 1,000 student organisations; intercollegiate club and recreational sports programmes, student media organisations and in-house publication.

“It is indeed a moment of pride and honour for MES Indian School and an inspiration for the younger generation,” remarked Sasidharan A P, Principal, MES Indian School.

Commenting on his outstanding honour, Dr Hari said, “I am grateful to MES Indian School for the motivation and support extended to me to achieve the success.”
