Alfardan Automobiles, the official BMW importer in Qatar, has announced the arrival of the latest BMW M models in its showrooms.

The stellar line-up includes the all-new BMW M3 Sedan, BMW M4 Coupé and BMW M4 convertible.

Also joining the M family before the end of this year in celebration of the 30-year anniversary of the BMW M5 is the most powerful variant of the BMW M5 yet: the ‘30 Years of the M5’.

Limited to a production of 300 cars globally, 30 of these powerful vehicles have been allocated for discerning customers in the Middle East.

Mohamed Kandeel, chief operating officer, Alfardan Group – Automotive Division said: “BMW M Models perform extremely well in Qatar stemming from our clients passion and demand for high performance vehicles. With the arrival of the BMW M3, BMW M4 and special edition BMW M5, M model fans will be able to take motor sport technology from the track to the road. We are confident that these new models will excite our customers and drive further growth BMW’s high-performance vehicles here in Qatar.”

The launch of the new BMW M3 Sedan and new BMW M4 Coupe sees BMW M GmbH revealing a new interpretation of the high-performance sports car – and carrying the BMW M philosophy over into the fifth generation of the M3.

More than 40,000 examples of the fourth-generation BMW M3 Coupe were built, and now the BMW M4 Coupe is poised to continue this success story. The “M4” badge is a reference to the model series that provides the basis for the new M model – and, for the first time, the Coupe will be introduced at the same time as the four-door Sedan variant.

The high-revving six-cylinder in-line engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology newly developed for the new BMW M3 Sedan and new BMW M4 Coupe produces a maximum output of 431hp. Its peak torque of 550 Newton metres is available across a wide rev band yet the engine also achieves a reduction in fuel consumption and emissions of around 25%. Both the BMW M3 Sedan and BMW M4 Coupe cover the sprint from 0 to 100 kph in 4.1 seconds (with the optional seven-speed M Double Clutch Transmission).

The new M4 Convertible replicates the performance figures of the new BMW M3 Sedan and the new BMW M4 Coupe. The power unit generates maximum output of 431hp from its 3l displacement and serves up peak torque of 406 lb-ft across a wide rev band.

The BMW M4 Convertible therefore offers not only exceptionally sporty performance attributes – the sprint from 0 to 100 kph takes just 4.4 seconds (with the optional seven-speed M Double Clutch Transmission) – but also sufficient reserves of power to cruise along in relaxed but rapid style with the roof down.

In keeping with the anniversary celebrations which have inspired its creation, the special “30 Years of the M5”model has been given the BMW Individual treatment, featuring the unique BMW Individual paint shade Frozen Dark Silver metallic in matt finish.

GmbH has also placed a 4.4-litre V8 engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology with output of 441 kW/600hp exceeding that of the standard model by 29 kW/40 hp.
