HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani held yesterday a session of talks with Lebanese Prime Minister Tammam Salam.
During the session they reviewed relations between the two countries and means of developing them. They also discussed a number of regional and international matters of mutual concern as well as the latest developments in the region.
The talks were attended by a number of ministers.
HE the Prime Minister hosted a luncheon banquet in honour of the Lebanese guest and his accompanying delegation.
Meanwhile, HE the Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage Dr Hamad bin Abdul Aziz al-Kuwari met yesterday with Lebanese Minister or Culture Raymond Araiji. Talks during the meeting dealt with relations between the two countries in addition to areas of cultural co-operation and means of bolstering them to realise the interests of both countries.
The Lebanese premier and his accompanying delegation left Doha yesterday afternoon concluding a visit to Qatar. They were was seen off by HE the Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage Dr Hamad bin Abdul Aziz al-Kuwari, Qatar’s Ambassador to Lebanon, Ali Hamad al-Marri, and Lebanese Ambassador to Qatar Hassan Qassem Najem.
