Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta yesterday met with Qatar’s Minister of Transport, HE Jassim Seif Ahmed al-Sulaiti, to review relations between the two countries and ways to develop them.
The meeting was attended by Qatar’s ambassador to Kenya, Ibrahim Mohamed al-Abdullah.
On Thursday, Qatar and Kenya signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in maritime transport.
The MoU was signed by al-Sulaiti and Kenyan Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Michael Kamau.
Al-Sulaiti, who arrived in Nairobi on Thursday on a two-day official visit, held talks with Kamau at the headquarters of the ministry of transport and infrastructure in Nairobi.

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani have sent cables of condolences to Kuwait Emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmed al-Jaber al-Sabah on the death of Sheikh Mubarak Hamoud Sabah al-Salman al-Sabah.
