The names of Gulf Times readers who won tickets to “The Bellamy Brothers Live in Qatar 2014” were announced yesterday. The draw was held at the office of Gulf Times, the event’s media sponsors, by Ibraham Jamal, chairman of Al-Tulu Group, the main organisers, in the presence of James John, assistant general manager-marketing.
The readers who won a VIP ticket each to the show are Sushaya Hattiarachhige, James Dean, Joshua Carlos, Andy Loukas, Marianne Santos and Christina Rodriguez.
This is the first performance in the Arabian Gulf by the Bellamy Brothers, legendary country/ pop stars from Nashville, Tennessee, along with five other American musicians.
They will stage their first concert on September 2 at St. Regis Doha-Grand Ballroom. Their second concert is on September 4 at Qatar National Convention Centre-Theatre.
Tickets are available at Virgin Megastores in Villagio mall, Landmark mall and Spinney’s (The Pearl-Qatar). The winners of the draw are requested to contact Gulf Times at 44466620 for their tickets.
