Two mallgoers in the country have won one Audi car each while 30 won cash and gift vouchers in the first raffle draw of the “Shopping Fun” organised by the Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA).
At the draw at Hyatt Plaza on Saturday, coupon number 376236 won an Audi A4, coupon number 0311429 won an Audi Q7 and coupon number 0116527 won a QR100,000 cash prize.
At least 15 shoppers each received QR1,500 worth of gift vouchers from Hyatt Plaza, nine got QR5,000 in cash, and five got QR10,000 each.
A series of raffle draws will be giving away a total of QR2.5mn as part of QTA’s Qatar Summer Festival “Shopping Fun” activity.
“In authorisation with the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, QTA is giving away a total of QR740, 000 worth of cash over the course of the festival. Eight Audi cars – four Audi A4 and four Audi Q7 – are also at stake.
Upcoming raffle draws will take place every Saturday between 7:30pm and 8:30pm: August 30 at City Center Doha, September 6 at Dar Al Salam Mall, and September 13 at The Pearl-Qatar.
The “Shopping Fun” activity, launched on August 17, also consists of a large-scale sale in Qatar’s participating main retail outlets including the Pearl-Qatar, The Mall, City Center Mall, Hyatt Plaza, Al Khor Mall, and Dar Al Salam Mall. It will run until September 17.
