HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani discussed with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Hamas politburo chief Khalid Mishal developments in the Palestinian territories, particularly the latest events in Gaza where Israeli shelling is continuing and what would help to stop it. The meeting, held yesterday morning at the Emiri Diwan, discussed efforts to end all forms of Israeli aggression in Palestine and achieve the demands of the brotherly Palestinian people in establishing their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
