HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday met Saudi Minister of National Guard Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz at the Al Bahr Palace.
The Saudi minister conveyed to the Emir greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz al-Saud and Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defence Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud as well as their wishes for progress and development to the Qatari people.
The Emir asked Prince Miteb to convey his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Saudi crown prince as well as his wishes of progress and prosperity to the Saudi people.
Bilateral relations and means of developing them were reviewed during the meeting.
Following the talks, HH the Emir hosted a luncheon banquet in honour of the Saudi prince and the accompanying delegation.
Earlier on arrival, the Saudi minister was received by HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad al- Thani and Hamza Saeed al-Oufi, Charge d’Affaires at the Saudi embassy in Doha.
Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz left Doha yesterday afternoon concluding a short visit to Qatar.
He was seen off by HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad al-Thani and Saudi Charge d’Affaires in Doha Hamza Saeed al-Oufi.
