The Ministry of Interior has taken part in the Eid al-Fitr celebrations with various cultural and entertainment programmes.
Personnel of the the Community Policing Sections at all Security Departments distributed roses to members of the community, including families in parks and other assembly points and motorists on streets to mark the joy and blessings of Eid.
The Community Policing and Public Relations Department jointly organised a cultural and entertainment event at Al Khor Sports club on Tuesday (July 29). A large number of people from different communities living in and around Al Khor attended the programme.
Different contests were held and prizes distributed among participants who took part in the various events. The programme started at 5pm and concluded at 10pm.
Lt. Col. Ahmad Zaid al-Mohannadi addressed the event and expressed his happiness in participating in such events which he said would help strengthen co-operation and communication among the different communities living in the country.
