The Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah met HH Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani, the Personal Representative of HH the Emir of Qatar at Dasman Palace in Kuwait City yesterday.
HH Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani conveyed the greetings of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani to the emir of Kuwait and his wishes of further progress and prosperity to the people of Kuwait.
The Kuwaiti emir asked HH Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani to convey his greetings to HH the Emir and his wishes of good health and happiness and progress and prosperity to the people of Qatari.
Discussions during the meeting dealt with the relations between the two countries as well as issues of mutual interest.
The meeting was attended by members of the delegation accompanying HH Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani.
On the Kuwaiti side, it was attended by Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, Deputy Chief of the National Guard Sheikh Meshaal al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak al-Hamad al-Sabah, and Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah al-Khalid al-Hamad al-Sabah.
HH Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al -Thani attended an Iftar banquet hosted by the Emir of Kuwait in his honour.
Later, Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani arrived in Oman from Kuwait. He was greeted by Omani Foreign Affairs Minister Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah and Minister of State and Governor of Muscat Province Sayyid Saud bin Hilal al-Busaidy.
