The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has announced the opening of online registration for VIPs, visitors and the media from Qatar for Milipol Qatar 2014, the international exhibition for internal state security.

The event, which is being organised by the Interior Ministry in partnership with Comexposium Security from Paris, is scheduled to take place from 20-22 October 2014 at the Doha Exhibition Centre.

Early online registrants will go through the pre-registration process and receive their electronic badge by entering their details at www.mybadgeonline.com/milipolqatar2014/.

The online registration guarantees access to a unique exhibition that presents the latest know-how and innovations in various activities involved in internal state security.

“As Milipol Qatar 2014 marks the 10th staging of this biennial event, we wish to inform all stakeholders involved in internal state security in Qatar that online registration to the event is now open,” said Brig. Nasser bin Fahad al-Thani, president of the 2014 Milipol Qatar Committee. 

“Having experienced exponential growth in the numbers of exhibitors, exhibition space, participants, and visitors since its creation in 1996, we encourage all interested parties and professionals involved in the field of internal state security in Qatar to avail this opportunity and be amongst the early registrants to the event.”

The activities and themes at the event include Data Protection – Information and Communication Systems; Economic and Industrial Intelligence; Systems Integration; Risk Analysis and Management; CBRN; Civil Defence; Forensic Science Services; Law Enforcement; Anti-Terrorism – Special Forces; Protection of Industrial and Sensitive Sites; Fight against organised crime; Security for public places – Urban Security; Transport Security; Port and Airport Security – Border Control and  Road Safety.
