Qatar’s Attorney General, HE Dr Ali bin Fetais al-Marri, has met with his Nepalese counterpart Baburam Kunwar.

During the meeting, they discussed a range of issues of common concern. They agreed to establish a direct contact between the attorney generals’ offices in both countries to tackle issues of common interest.

They also agreed on organising training courses, in Doha, for Nepalese prosecutors to build their legal capacity.

Al-Marri, now on a visit to Katmandu, also met with the Nepalese Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Hari Prasad Neupane.

They agreed on establishing direct communication between their offices.

The meetings were attended by the charge de-affairs at the Qatari embassy in Katmandu, Abdulnassir Aboalfeen, and the delegation accompanying the attorney general.
