HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday received a telephone call from the President of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades. They discussed relations between Qatar and Cyprus and means to bolster them.
Emir, PM send National Day greetings
HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani have sent cables of congratulations to the governor general of Canada on his country’s National Day.
Deputy PM receives US ambassador
HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid al-Mahmoud met the outgoing US ambassador to Qatar Susan Laila Ziadeh in Doha yesterday.
They reviewed bilateral relations on all fronts. HE al-Mahmoud wished the ambassador success in her future posts and hoped for more development and growth to relations between Qatar and the US.
Real estate transactions
Transactions between June 22 and 26 for the real estate sales contracts registered at the Ministry of Justice are worth QR914,457,833, the real estate registration department at the Ministry said in its weekly report.
