They discussed bilateral relations and means of developing them.
Emir, PM send condolences
HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani have sent cables to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz al-Saud condoling the death of Princess Al-Jawhara bint Badr bin Abdulaziz al-Saud.
National Day greetings sent
HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani yesterday sent cables of congratulations to Portuguese President Anibal Cavaco Silva on his country’s National Day.
Sports Minister leaves for Brazil
HE the Minister of Youth and Sports Salah bin Ghanim bin Nassir al-Ali left Doha yesterday for Sao Paulo to attend the opening match of the World Cup soccer tournament to be hosted by Brazil from June 12 to July 13, 2014.
The Minister’s visit, which lasts until next Monday, will also include several meetings with sports officials and personalities from around the world.
Real estate transactions
Transactions between June 1 and 5 for the real estate sales contracts registered at the Ministry of Justice are worth QR1,351,147,591, the real estate registration department at the Ministry said in its weekly report. The list of properties that were traded includes open plots of land, two-floor villas, annexes, houses and residential buildings and compounds.
