A performance by Vasile Iovu folk group of Moldova enthralled the audience during a musical night at Katara - the Cultural Village on Friday. The event was held at Katara Drama Theatre. The ambassador of Moldova, Valeriu Tikhonov, attended the event along with other envoys and heads of diplomatic missions. Katara general manager Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim al-Sulaiti stressed the importance of such events in bringing different world cultures closer.
