Uruguay’s Minister of Education and Culture Ricardo Ehrlich with Qatar’s Ambassador to Uruguay Mohamed bin Hassan Jaber al-Jabir. Talks during the meeting, which was held in Montevideo, dealt with relations between the two countries and means of enhancing them. Ambassador al-Jabir handed over a painting presented by HE the Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage Dr Hamad bin Abdul Aziz al-Kuwari to be displayed at one the museums of Uruguay’s Ministry of Education and Culture. The painting depicts the originality of the Qatari people in terms of their customs and
traditions and reflects attention they pay to their heritage.
