HE the Assistant Foreign Minister for International Co-operation Affairs, Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani, held separate meetings with French Ambassador to Doha Jean-Christophe Possel, Swiss Ambassador Martin Aeschbacher, Syrian National Coalition Ambassador Nizar al-Haraki, and Bosnia And Herzegovina’s Ambassador Najim Ritsa in Doha yesterday.

The meetings reviewed bilateral relations and means of developing them in addition to issues of mutual concern.


Qatar-Iran ties reviewed

HE the Assistant Foreign Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mohamed bin Abdullah al-Rumaihi, met Abdallahaan Amir Hussein, the Iranian Assistant Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs in Doha yesterday. 

During the meeting, they discussed relations between Qatar and Iran and ways of enhancing them in addition to matters of common concern.

 

Albania waives visa for Qataris

The Albanian authorities have cancelled the entry visa requirements for all Qatari citizens, an official source at the Foreign Ministry has said.

The source said in a statement carried by Qatar News Agency that the Albanian authorities also revealed that the Qatari citizens can travel to Albania at any time they wish without applying for a visa in advance from May 25 until September 30, 2014.

 

Moroccan officials meet Qatar envoy

Director of the East, Gulf and the Arab and Islamic Organisations at the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Ahmed al-Tazi yesterday met Abdullah bin Falah Abdullah al-Dosari, Qatar’s ambassador to Morocco, in Rabat yesterday. 

Director of Department of Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mohammed Rida El Fassi also met with the Qatari diplomat. 

Talks during the two meetings dealt with bilateral relations and means of promoting them besides a number of topics of mutual concern.

 

Qatar-Kyrgyzstan relations discussed

Chief of the parliamentary bloc of Kyrgyzstan’s Republican Party yesterday met Qatar’s Ambassador to Bishkek Mohamed bin Arrar al-Nuaimi.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed co-operation between the two countries on all fronts.

 

Education Minister meets Niger’s FM

HE the Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr Mohamed Abdul Wahed al-Hammadi met Niger’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Co-operation and African Integration Mohamed Bazoum and his accompanying delegation. 

They reviewed aspects of co-operation between Qatar and the Republic of Niger and means of developing them.

 

Gambian minister meets Qatar envoy

Gambian Minister of Foreign Affairs Mamour Alieu Jagne yesterday met Qatar’s Ambassador to Gambia Mohamed bin Nasser Issa al-Kaabi.

Talks during the meeting dealt with relations between the two countries and means of developing them in all fields.
