Qatar Chamber (QC) officials and an Italian business delegation discussed ways of enhancing co-operation in trade, investment and industrial sectors in Doha yesterday.  

QC vice-chairman Mohamed bin Ahmed bin Tawar welcomed the Italian delegation.

He praised the existing relations between Qatar and Italy, saying that strengthening ties in trading, investment, industrial and infrastructural domains will open the way for enhancing co-operation with Italy in all sectors.

He expressed the hope that the meeting would lead to successful partnerships and joint ventures. 

The Italian delegation members, including Silvia Tosi, deputy head of mission at the Italian embassy in Doha and chairperson of Italian Chamber of Commerce in Qatar Palma Libotte expressed their hope that the meeting would lead to good partnerships in many sectors especially in trading, investment, agricultural and industrial fields.
