The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) are among the winners of the awards instituted by the Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation (Kahramaa) as part of its ongoing Tarsheed campaign. |
The five-year Tarsheed campaign is aimed at reducing consumption of electricity and water in the country.
The award winners are:
* Government: Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs - Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab Mosque
* Industrial: Qatar Cool - The Pearl-Qatar residential compounds
* Sports: QOC - Horse-riding compound, Al Khor
* Commercial: Ezdan Holding - Ezdan Mall
* Residential: Residence of Mohamed Salim al-Mansouri
* Film contest winners: Mohamed Abdullah, P P Ganesh and Hadil al-Marzouqi
* Short story contest for schools: Wadha Mansour al-Khayareen, Mostafa Hassan Sheta and Amr Hamed Hasan.
The Ministry of Environment, Doha Film Institute, Chubu Electric Company and Qatar University also received awards.
