The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a traffic diversion on West Industrial Street from Roundabout 33 (Al Muntazah intersection) to Roundabout 23.
The other half of the street - in the opposite direction - has been widened to allow traffic to flow in both directions without any interruption due to the ongoing works. It will become a two-way street, as shown in the map.
The closure will start tomorrow and last for nine months. It is part of phase one of a project to develop the Doha Industrial Area undertaken by Ashghal to increase the capacity of roads and support traffic flow, in addition to infrastructure work.
