Public Security Director General HE Staff Major General Saad bin Jassim al-Khulaifi met with Iran’s Assistant Minister of Interior for Security Affairs Ali Abdullahi and the accompanying delegation at the former’s office at the Ministry of Interior yesterday. |
The officials signed the minutes of the first meeting of the joint committee between Qatar and Iran for enhancing joint co-operation and discussing ways of boosting co-operation in various security fields that concern both countries.
On Monday, they led discussions between Qatari and Iranian delegations. Officials from different departments under Qatar’s Ministry of Interior and members of the Iranian delegation and the Iranian ambassador to Qatar also attended the discussions.
The Iranian Delegation had been visiting various departments under the Ministry of Interior and observed the latest technology and modern devices used and learned about the activities of those departments.
