HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani chaired the weekly Cabinet meeting at the Emiri Diwan yesterday.

The Cabinet considered the following topics tabled on the agenda:

First: Approving the draft decision of the Minister of Justice on setting the enrolment fees in the lawyers’ schedules.     

Second: Approving the draft decision of the Minister of Environment on endorsing a Qatari technical regulation or bylaw.

According to the provisions of this draft decision, the Qatari draft technical regulation approves (the QCS 2014 for construction) a binding Qatari regulation.

Third: Approving the participation in activities of the 15th GCC states’ exhibition due to be held in the UAE on May 26-30, 2014.

Fourth: Approving the proposal of the Labour and Social Affairs Ministry to grant the Qatar Red Crescent Society financial support of the fiscal year 2013-2014.

Fifth: Approving the following:

1-A draft co-operation agreement in the legal field between the Qatari Justice Ministry and its Georgian counterpart.

2- A draft protocol complementary to the air transport accord between the governments of Qatar and Romania.

 Sixth: The Cabinet then reviewed a study conducted by the population standing committee.
