Qatar Central Bank (QCB) will organise a conference on the challenges and solutions to information security in financial institutions. The conference will take place on April 27-28. In a statement released yesterday, the QCB said that the conference will discuss how to deal with the challenges of information security and that its final day will come out with a set of recommendations, adding that it was keen to make the conference a success and is committed to implementing its resolutions. The bank expressed its thanks to those participating in the conference whether from Qatar or outside it. It especially mentioned the Ministry of Information and Communications (ictQATAR). The bank also stressed its commitment to ensuring the safety of the banking sector in Qatar, particularly in maintaining the security of information as required by law.
