Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry has confirmed that the investment climate in Turkey has encouraged many Qatari businessmen to direct more investments to that country, taking advantage of the benefits offered by the Turkish government. This came in a speech delivered by the Chamber’s board member Mohamed Jawhar al-Mohamed on behalf of the Qatari business community during the International Investment Summit, hosted by Istanbul. Al-Mohamed said that the real estate and hotels sectors are the most prominent areas of Qatari investment in Turkey, noting that many Qatari businessmen are working in real estate development in Turkey through the possession of land, construction and purchase of hotels in touristic attractions.
