Emir, PM send condolence cables to Kuwaiti emir
HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani have sent cables to the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmed al-Jaber al-Sabah condoling the death of Sheikh Jaber Nasser Sabah al-Nasser al-Sabah.
Qatar-Moldova ties reviewed
Minister of Labour, Social Protection and Family of Moldova Valentina Buliga has met Qatar’s Ambassador Mohamed Ali al-Maliki. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations and ways of enhancing them.
Qatar’s envoy meets US officials
Qatar’s Ambassador to the United States Mohamed Jaaham al-Kuwari has held a series of meetings with a number of senior US officials.
Al-Kuwari met Wendy Sherman, Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs, Anne Patterson, Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, Billy Long, Mark Meadows, Ted Deutch, Dan Poneman, Deputy Minister of Energy, Michael Welch, and Mayor Michael Nutter.
The ambassador discussed with them relations between Qatar and the US and means of bolstering them in addition to the latest developments in the Middle East and the Gulf region.
