Emir appoints CEO of Qatar Media Corp
HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday issued Emiri Decision No 51 of 2014 appointing HE Sheikh Abdurrahman bin Hamad bin Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Qatar Media Corporation.

Temperatures to hit 40 degrees tomorrow
Temperatures in the country are expected to soar to 40 degrees tomorrow with sweltering conditions fast setting in across the region. Weather agencies have forecast temperatures between 40 and 41C tomorrow and on Sunday. Today’s temperature is likely to hit 37-38C. Western parts of Qatar such as Abu Samra and Dukhan are expected to experience hotter conditions.
