They reviewed bilateral relations and means of developing them.

 

Emir, PM greet Malta’s president

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani yesterday sent cables of congratulations to President Marie Louise Coleiro Preca on the occasion of assuming her post as the president of Malta.

 

Al-Attiyah meets Opec chief

HE the Chairman of the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority (ACTA)  Abdullah bin Hamad al-Attiyah yesterday met the Secretary-General of the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (Opec) Abdallah Salem el-Badri in Doha yesterday.

Talks dealt with important issues of mutual concern and ways of enhancing co-operation between the two sides.

 

Real estate transactions

Trading volume of real estate last week, March 30-April 3, was worth in excess of QR1bn, the Real Estate Registration and Authentication Department at the Ministry of Justice said yesterday. 

The department’s weekly report released yesterday said that the figure traded was QR1,334,224,278.


Minister in Hungary talks

HE Qatar’s Assistant Foreign Minister Mohamed bin Abdullah al-Rumaihi  yesterday met with Hungarian Foreign Minister Janos Martonyi in Budapest, reports QNA. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations and other issues of mutual interest including regional and international affairs. A round of political consultations was also held between the foreign ministries of the two countries at the level of assistant ministers with the Hungarian Assistant Foreign Minister Peter Fenner Mental representing the Hungarian side.
