HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ahmad bin Abdullah al-Mahmoud held separate meetings yesterday with Amin Hassan Omer, head of Darfur peace follow-up office, and
al-Sadiq al-Mahdi, leader of Sudan’s National Umma Party. The peace process in Darfur and efforts to support it on the basis of Doha Document for Peace in Darfur were discussed during the meetings. Down: They also reviewed political developments in Sudan in light of the ongoing preparations to hold the national dialogue conference.
