A group of Norwegians on a tour of the Gulf region visited The Pearl-Qatar last Wednesday as part of a Doha city tour.
The delegation comprised professionals, members of Norwegian interest groups and other representatives of various society groups in Norway, ranging from prominent businesspeople and educators to tourism enthusiasts and recent retirees.
“Drawing tourists from all parts of the world is a regular happening at The Pearl-Qatar and highlights the island’s positioning as a tourism destination in Qatar and a model first-class international urban mixed-use development offering five-star services to a growing list of residents and tourists alike,” said Roger Dagher, director of corporate communications at United Development Company (UDC), the master developer of The Pearl-Qatar Island.
The visiting Norwegian group represents a sample of tourists from the region, Europe, Asia, the Americas and other parts of the world who visit the Pearl on a daily basis, seeking to enjoy its blend of international dining, shopping and retail offerings, as well as to enjoy some of its spectacular sea views while strolling on its promenades and boardwalks.
The fact that the Pearl-Qatar has become a destination of choice for tourists is also seen as an attractive investment and business opportunity for those seeking a healthy return on their investments.
“Besides being Qatar’s first international real estate venture offering true freehold investment opportunities to international buyers, The Pearl-Qatar has set new standards for developments in Qatar and the Middle East by delivering a first class residential and leisure community while hosting world-renowned and popular retail brands and hospitality/dining offerings,” the official added.
