HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani holding talks with Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Kenya Amina Mohamed in Doha yesterday. They reviewed bilateral relations and ways of enhancing them in addition to other matters of mutual interest.
Emir endorses Cabinet decisions
HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday ratified Cabinet decision No 20 of 2014 on establishing an appeals committee at the Ministry of Municipality And Urban Planning.
The Emir also endorsed Cabinet decision No 21 of 2014 amending some provisions of the decision No 17 of 2003 on establishing a committee for naming areas, quarters , streets and squares. The two decisions are to be effective and operative as of their issuance and to be published in the official gazette.
Instruments of ratification
HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday issued the following instruments of ratification:
1. Approving a bilateral draft accord for air services between the governments of Qatar and South Africa to establish air services between and beyond their respective territories. The accord was signed in Doha on 27/06/1998.
2. Approving a draft agreement on economic, trading, investment and technical co-operation between the governments of Qatar and Peru, which was signed in Doha on 20/02/2014.
3. Approving endorsement of an agreement for establishing a houbara breeding centre in ‘Al Beid’ province in Algeria between the governments of Qatar and Algeria. The agreement was signed in Algiers on 7/1/2013.
Assistant Foreign Minister meets US ambassador
HE the Assistant Foreign Minister for International Co-operation Affairs Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani yesterday met US Ambassador to Qatar Susan L. Ziadeh. They discussed bilateral relations.
