Northwestern University in Qatar (NU-Q) has celebrated the successes of students who demonstrated academic excellence, securing their spots on the fall semester Dean’s List.

The list comprises communication majors who achieved a 3.75 grade point average (GPA) on three graded courses, and journalism majors who achieved a 3.7 GPA on three graded courses or, if on residency, completed two graded courses in addition to their residency.

According to dean and CEO of NU-Q, Everette E Dennis, the top achievers “have worked hard to benefit from NU-Q’s practical field experience and a world-class media and liberal arts curriculum - they have developed skills to impact the media landscape, regionally and worldwide.

“I, along with NU-Q faculty and staff, would like to congratulate the recognised students, who have demonstrated a deep commitment to the pursuit of academic and creative excellence,” he added.
