A total of 22 police cadets were honoured by Major General Dr Abdullah Yusuf al-Mal, the legal adviser to HE Minister of Interior, for their achievement of Certified International Trainer certificate.

The HR department director, Brigadier Husain Hassan al-Jaber, and Captain Ali Saud al-Henzab, the head of training section for HR department and directors of MoI departments were present.

Brigadier al-Jaber said the training course was the result of efforts made by the HR department in collaboration with Police Training Institute, Technical Office of HE Prime Minister and the Strategic Planning Department, to develop international certified trainers from among the MoI
officers.

The first batch was trained on the basis of the future plan to create well trained Qatari Police cadets and new batches will come out regularly after acquiring a high-level of training.

The newly certified trainers are selected from all departments of the MoI to cover all initiatives of the police force including security, service and administrative sections. The training programme conducted by the Police Training Institute in association with British College and City & Guilds.
