Qatar First Bank (QFB) announced the conclusion of its annual Corporate Wellness Programme by hosting a Sports Day for its employees, during which a variety of activities were organised with the aim of encouraging employees to embrace a healthy and active lifestyle.

QFB’s Corporate Wellness Programme this year included the B Active Challenge in collaboration with “Step into Health” programme of Aspire. The month-long competition follows the “Step into Health” programme where employees were encouraged to lead an active life by walking at least 10,000 steps a day. Employees were given pedometers provided by Aspire to count their steps.

To mark the third National Sport Day, QFB hosted an outdoor staff event that involved a series of sports activities such as a mini-football tournament and leisure games. In addition, the winners of the B Active Challenge were announced during the event.

“We conclude our month-long Corporate Wellness Programme as the nation celebrates the annual Qatar National Sport Day. Our B Active Challenge this year was a great success. The initiative was well-received by our employees and competition was tough,” said Mohamed al-Sahli, head of communications at QFB.
