Indian President Pranab Mukherjee met with HE Qatar’s ambassador to New Delhi Ahmed Ibrahim al-Abdullah on the sidelines of a reception ceremony for heads of diplomatic missions in India on the occasion of its National Day, which is celebrated on January 26.
The ambassador conveyed greetings of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani to the Indian president and wishes of progress and development to the friendly Indian people.
In turn, the Indian president asked the Qatari ambassador to convey his greetings to HH the Emir and wishes of progress and prosperity to the Qatari people and government.
