Consolidated Gulf Company has received three ISO re-certifications for its wide range of solutions and services, which reconfirm CGC’s compliance to work processes and operational standards.
Valid for three years, the Integrated Management System (IMS) certifications include the Quality Management System ISO 9001:2008, Environmental Management System ISO 14001:2004 and Occupational Health and Safety Management System OHSAS 18001:2007.
Tawfeeq Salem, CGC chief financial officer expressed satisfaction over the continuation of the IMS certifications.
He said: “The latest achievement once again proves our sustained efforts, commitment and conformity to the best practices, upgraded capabilities and adherence to the requirement of the international principles and standards. It reenforces our resolve to continue to provide quality technological, engineering and mobility products, solutions and services in a safe, secure and environment-friendly way, while minimizing incidents to our associates, customers and atmosphere to zero.”
The re-certifications are the result of a thorough assessment and auditing of CGC’s entire work processes and operational standards. The certification agency, Velosi Quality Management International found CGC in compliance with the requirements of quality, environment, occupational health and safety norms concerning its stakeholders.
CGC has been an ISO certified company since 2006. Moving forward, it upgraded its work processes to achieve the three quality certifications in the year 2010. And CGC received re-certifications to all the three international standards in the latest assessment by Velosi.
