HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani meeting with Republic of the Congo President Denis Sassou-Nguesso at the Emiri Diwan yesterday. They discussed relations between the two countries and ways to promote them in addition to a range of regional and international issues of common concern. The talks were attended by a number of ministers. HH the Emir and the Congolese president later witnessed the signing of a framework agreement on co-operation between Qatar Petroleum International and the Congo’s Elf Aquitaine
