HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani yesterday held a round of talks with Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.
They reviewed existing bilateral ties and means of enhancing them on all fronts, in addition to a number of regional and international issues of mutual concern.
The session was attended by members of the official delegation accompanying the Prime Minister and Singaporean ministers.
The Prime Minister also attended a dinner banquet hosted by Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.
The banquet was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean, who is also Co-ordinating Minister for National Security and Minister for Home Affairs. A number of Singaporean ministers and senior officials were present as well.  
A red-carpet reception was accorded to the Premier and Interior Minister upon his arrival.  
Earlier yesterday, HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani attended a luncheon banquet hosted by Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean.
Later, the Prime Minister and Interior Minister met the Emeritus Senior Minister of Singapore Goh Chok Tong at Istana Presidential Palace .
During the meeting they discussed bilateral ties and means to promote them.
The meeting was attended by members of the official delegation accompanying the Prime Minister.
