HE the Minister of State for Defence Affairs Major General Hamad bin Ali al-Attiyah yesterday received a letter from Greek Defence Minister Panos Panagiotopoulos. Greek ambassador to Qatar, Helen-Elsa Zorbala handed over the letter to al-Attiyah yesterday (pictured). Al-Attiyah wished the outgoing Greek ambassador success in her future missions. The Minister of State for Defence Affairs also received a letter from Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, the vice president, prime minister and defence minister of the United Arab Emirates. UAE ambassador Jumaa Rashid Saif Az-Zahiri handed over the letter to al-Attiyah. He also met Bahraini ambassador Wahid Mubarak Sayyar and the outgoing Kuwaiti Ambassador Ali Salman al-Hefy.
