Qatar Statistics Authority (QSA) president Sheikh Hamad bin Jabor bin Jassim al-Thani yesterday said the reign of HH Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani marked a distinct and bright period in the history of Qatar.
Qatar now ranks among the advanced nations of the world due to the achievements of HH Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa, he observed, adding that HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, supported by the people, will continue to lead the nation on the path of progress and development .
The QSA president said the speech of HH Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa painted the political future of Qatar, with the reliance on youth providing great hope for the country. The youth should be motivated not to waste the opportunity to be part of this policy and every young Qatari should strive to keep the country on the path of continued progress.
Sheikh Hamad bin Jabor expressed gratitude to HH Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa for the way he led the country since assuming office as well as his deep belief in the role of the young leadership represented by HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad.
He praised the achievements of HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad while working with his father over the past few years, supporting him in achieving progress and prosperity for his country and the people.
Sheikh Hamad bin Jabor said the QSA would support the policies of HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad in achieving sustainable development through capacity-building at all levels.
