Alfardan Automobiles, the official importer of Mini cars in Qatar, joined reggae fans for a fun-filled experience at the St Regis Doha beach last weekend.
The event featured two nights of jamming and Caribbean-inspired delicacies as part of the hotel’s final series of Reggae Nights before summer.
Each night kicked off with performances by DJ Sam Baila, followed by classic reggae tunes from resident band Buggy Nakhente and Fully Loaded. With Reggae nights taking place every weekend, Mini added its own flavour to the nights by showcasing two of its newest models - the world’s first sports activity coupe, the Paceman, and the Mini Coupé.
The seventh member to join the Mini family, the Paceman will appeal to new target groups who have been looking for a Mini that combines the sportiness and space of an SUV with the design of a coupé. Meanwhile, the Mini Coupé is the brand’s first two-seater. It is specifically geared to maximise driving fun, providing a level of agility unmatched in the small car segment.
Mini added even more fun by giving away special goodie bags to partygoers.
For Mohamed Kandeel, general manager of Alfardan Automobiles, Mini is the ideal partner for events such as the St Regis Doha’s Reggae Nights. “Mini is all about having fun and enjoying life. This participation was the perfect fit for Mini and we were delighted to join reggae fans and partygoers at the fun-filled weekend of great music, delicious food and chilled vibes,” said Kandeel.
Organised by the St Regis Doha’s Oyster Bay and Bar, Reggae Nights form part of the hotel’s Reggae Beach Festival. It kicked off in March and concluded last weekend for the summer. It will resume later in the year.
