Andrew Stevens, Group CEO of Commercial Bank, has announced the appointment of Jawaher Badr Kafoud as head of investor relations. |
Jawaher has been with Commercial Bank since 2008, building her career through roles in retail and corporate banking. She recently participated in the bank’s Accelerated Leadership Programme, which offers world-class development to high-potential staff and prepares them for senior leadership roles.
This is the latest appointment made from the ranks of homegrown leaders emerging from the bank’s ongoing career development programmes and is testament to the educational and personal qualities of the Qatari talent within the bank.
Commenting on the appointment, Stevens said: “I am delighted to offer Jawaher this important senior management role. In her time with the bank, Jawaher has emerged as a talented manager and leader and has clearly benefited from the exposure and experience gained as part of our flagship leadership development programmes.
