Indian dancer and actress Shobana will perform on May 23, at Regency Halls, near the Mall roundabout.
Shobana, a civil award recipient and also the best actress at the National Film Award twice, will lead an all-female troupe from her dance school Kalarpana, Chennai, at the show, co-ordinated by Manu Arts.
Actors like Shabana Azmi, Konkana Sen, Nandita Das, Anupam Kher, Surya, Prabu, Milind Soman and Radhika have lent voices to the characters in Krishna in English. The show is directed, choreographed by Shobana and the sound techniques by Oscar Award winner Rasool Pookutty. The music is in Hindi and the dialogues in English.
Health Spring World Clinic and Al Anees Trading are the main sponsors. Sunrise Group, Innovative Technology, Argon Global, City Exchange, Doha Bank, Al Dar Exchange, Desert line Projects, Sunrise Travels are the other sponsors for the event.
