Tickets for the first-ever “Disney On Ice” which will be held in Doha can be purchased from today (noon) at Virgin Megastores across the city, and those who want to buy it online can go to www.virginmegastore.qa
Feld Entertainment vice president Horacio Renna and Sport and Entertainment Solutions founder-CEO Ali Haidary presented the honorary first ticket to Abdullah al-Bader, director of tourism at the Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA). Regular tickets for the Disney event start from QR150. However, QR25 discount will be given to those who will buy during the early bird special period until May 15. The pricing of the tickets are Regular seats-QR150, QR250 and QR350; VIP-QR500 and the VVIP (rink-side) experience is QR1,000.
Dubai-based Sport and Entertainment Solutions had earlier announced that “Disney on Ice,” in co-operation with the QTA, would be coming to the Middle East for the first time. It will be staged at the Qatar National Convention Centre from June 13-16.“We are very excited to bring 100 Years of Magic to the Middle East for the first time. With this show, we bring a promise to instill the magic of Disney in the hearts of children and adults alike,” Haidary said.
Some of Disney’s main characters who are expected to perform include Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pinocchio, Jiminy Cricket, Stitch, Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Nemo and the Incredibles as well as exciting moments from Disney’s Mulan and The Lion King.
