JCC’s Siwar Choir will join one of Germany’s leading children choirs - German MDR Leipzig Radio Children’s Choir - for a special concert tomorrow.

The choir will give a two-hour live performance, including several traditional Middle Eastern songs.

The choir comprising some 40 talented Arab children will be accompanied by an orchestra of some 33 musicians led by Maestro Nabih el-Khatib.

Special guests include renowned artist Pedro Eustache, Lebanese pianist and composer Michel Fadel and German Soprano Felicita Fuchs.

Siwar Choir is one way JCC is supporting a new generation of Arab talent and reviving Arabic musical heritage.

The partnership with the German MDR Leipzig Radio Children’s Choir opens new avenues for both choirs to refine their musical talents through cultural exchange.

The concert will take place at the Qatar National Convention Centre’s Theatre at 7:30pm.

Tickets are now on sale at all Virgin Megastores at Villagio and Landmark branches.
