The 10th annual Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition will start tomorrow under the patronage of HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor al-Thani.
The seven-day international exhibition, which ends on March 3, is being organised by the Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) and will showcase the finest collections of jewellery and watches. It will be held at the Doha Exhibition Centre.
This year’s event, which is sponsored by QNB, features over 530 international and regional brands of fine jewellery and luxury watches - including the world’s most glamorous and fashionable marquees. Several special pieces will be exclusively revealed at the show.
Besides a line-up of regular exhibitors, the 10th annual exhibition will also host many new participants representing some of the world’s leading names in the industry. These include Christie’s from London and Matis Jewelry, who are aiming to establish a foothold in the jewellery industry in Qatar.
This year’s exhibition will see a 15% increase in the participation of international brands.
