Harley-Davidson Doha has bagged the Harley-Davidson Strategic Growth Market Award at the brand’s annual Mena Tak-Dear Awards for 2012.
The Doha dealer registered a growth level that outpaced dealers across Mena, Africa, Europe and Russia.
Speaking at the ceremony, Robert Andrew Kelly, Harley-Davidson Doha dealer-principal, said Qatar is one of the most active Harley-Davidson communities in the world, with new members joining every day.
“This success is mainly attributed to the team’s combined and steadfast efforts to see this iconic brand being perfectly represented in the Qatari market. The award strongly underlines our solid performance and growth and we are very thankful to Nasser Bin Khaled’s chairman and CEO, Sheikh Nawaf Nasser bin Khaled al-Thani, for continuously investing to bring Harley-Davidson to such a level.”
Team members Leah Culaton Young, Francisco Jr Panado Rellosa and Wilfredo Santander Placer were also awarded for their professional contribution to the overall business.
At the recent Qatar Motor Show, Harley-Davidson Doha revealed a Custom Qatar Softail, created via modifications to a standard Deluxe bike.
The dealer has also relocated from Al Wakrah to Salwa Road.  The new showroom features the latest collection of Harleys along with some of the brand’s most exclusive motorcycles.
