The Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited of Pakistan yesterday disconnected supply to 32 government and private offices/institutions, including federal ombudsman, in various regions for
non-payment of dues.

In Islamabad region, SNGPL field teams cut supply to Wahdat Colony SHO (Taxila), Science Laboratory (Chak Shehzad), SDO Rawal Dam Colony, federal ombudsman (sector G-5), THQ Hospital Hasanabdal, Intelligence Agency Office (H-11), CB Junior Model School (Wah Cantt) and Commanding Officer (Wah Cantt).

In Gujrat, the authorities removed meters and suspended gas supply to Govt Raful Islam High School (Mandi Bahauddin), Jamia Masjid Sain Kalan, Ghusia Masjid, Imambargah, Masjid Al-Sadiq and Jamia Masjid Hanfia, (all in Mandi Bahauddin), executive engineer office and Civil
Hospital (Gujrat).

The officials in Rawalpindi region disconnected gas supply to police station (Chua Saidan), Zila Council (Chakwal), district health officer (Rawalpindi), police lines and local government office (Chakwal).

In Peshawar region, the gas supply to special education officer, Government Polytechnic Institute for Women and Rustam Colony Tableeghi Marakaz was also disconnected.
