Nepalese health workers monitor arriving passengers for signs of fever, one of the symptoms of Ebola, at a health desk at Nepal’s only international airport in Kathmandu yesterday. The Nepalese government established a quarantine health desk at the airport to detect suspected patients arriving from Ebola-affected countries. The global death toll from Ebola stands at 1,229, with the bulk of cases in Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone.
