The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs has provided special services and facilities for those staying at different mosques in the country for the purpose of exclusive worship during the last 10 days of the holy month of Ramadan.

Both locals and expatriate believers have appreciated the services provided by the ministry, saying they help create an atmosphere that is conducive to deepening their religious faith during this special period.

Saud al-Hajiri, Imam of the Hassa Al Suwaidi mosque in Al Aziziyah, described the turnout of believers for such worship in the mosque as truly remarkable. He stressed that a special schedule of events has been prepared and approved to help believers draw maximum benefit from their stay. It includes Qur’an recitation sessions, recitation of religious praises, religious lessons, regular prayers and reading at the mosque library.

The believers are divided into groups that undertake necessary services among each other, including giving lessons, cleaning and providing food services.

Meanwhile, believers said they have noticed remarkable development in the services offered to them during this period by the ministry, giving them the best opportunity for an exclusive spiritual time that will positively impact their lives afterwards.
